For temperature monitoring, the sensor returns the temperature value of water and/or air to the SunRiser 8 in °C. The SunRiser 8 can then control output channels 1-8 according to the settings made in the web interface. For example, the heat recovery mini pump is turned on or off or the light is dimmed when the water temperature reaches a critical level. In order to be able to monitor different areas, such as air and water or water inlet and outlet, it is also possible to connect 2 sensors via Y-cable.
Possible functions based on the temperature value
- Switch off channel
- Dim channel to a preset value
- Switch on channel
- execution only in certain months, e.g. summer
- Alarm email, when critical temperature is reached (function in progress)
- Regular status email (function in progress)
Scope of delivery / Connection:
1x waterproof temperature sensor for fresh and sea water in black, incl. 200cm cable and plug for connection to "1-Wire" or "Sensor" of the SunRiser 8. Please disconnect the SunRiser 8 from the power supply before connecting it. The sensor functions exclusively in 12VDC operation of the SunRiser 8.

Warnung vor Fälschungen
Zuerst mal 5-Sterne für die Möglichkeit jetzt auch einen Temperatursensor am sunriser verwenden zu können. Dies ist aber keine Bewertung des eigentlichen Produkts von LED-Aquaristik, sondern eine Warnung vor Alternativprodukten, die dem geneigten Bastler ins Auge springen könnten. Ich empfehle unbedingt das hier angebotene Original zu nehmen! Am Markt gibt es unzählige Angebote für wasserdichte Thermosensoren mit DS18B20, die sich prinzipiell verwenden lassen würden, wenn originale Sensoren von Maxim Integrated verbaut wären. Aus leidvoller eigener Erfahrung empfehle ich die Lektüre von https://github.com/cpetrich/counterfeit_DS18B20 Der Markt wird derzeit offenbar mit Varianten überschwemmt, die den am sunriser verwendeten "parasite power mode" gar nicht können und es ist unmöglich festzustellen was genau verbaut wurde ohne den Sensor anzuschließen.
